Thursday's Lunar Eclpse

Between it being too farking cold, not knowing how to work a camera, lens fog, and doing some quick and dirty photochopping, this is really a half-assed job. In other words, it's in the form you've grown to love and expect from the Authors.

Before I figured out what I was doing (the shadowed part was much more visible)...

The red is very close to true color as the eclipse progressed. The two hues are the result of switching between manual and a preset mode.

Oh, and Saturn made a strong showing as well, though you'll probably have to click for the larger photo to see it.

The Moon was of around -9.8 magnitude, Saturn of .87, Regulus of 1.35. Smaller numbes are brighter, of course.
